THE PSKOV SAILING REGATTA - 2010

POSITION

 The Seventh Pskov Sailing Regatta will take place on the  lake Pskov  on June 12 - 14, 2010.
The regatta has been devoted to  the 150-th Anniversary of The Bank of Russia.
The Pskov sailing regatta constitutes a noncommercial competition.
All the funds received to be  spent for preparation, carrying out of competitions and rewarding of participants and could  not be considered as  a profit.
The purpose of this  regatta is  developing of sailing and maintening  of  sea traditions
Races in a class of yachts «Micro» have the status of  the  «Cup of Europe» stage.

1.ORGANIZERS.
Organizing committee:
Administration of the Pskov area,
The Bank of Russia
 Russian yachting federation.

The Race Committee and participants  will be accomodated on board of yacht club’s boarding house "Кrivsk"  which is celebrating its 15-th  year in service in 2010.

2. The regatta program:
 June 11 - arrival of participants from 18.00.
Registration of participants. Launching.
 June 12 – 8.00-11.30 Registration of participants. Launching.
 - 12.00 – regatta opening ceremony
 - 14.00 – 18.00 - racing
 June 13 - 11.00 – 18.00 racing
 June 14 - 10.00 – 14.00 racing 
                - 16.00  - prizegiving ceremony.

3.  Classes:
- "MikroClass" - The «Cup of Europe» stage
- "Minitonnik"
- «The Wind 8м»
- A sailing board
       
4. Participants:
 Participants are admitted to compete after complete registration in accordance with the entry form which must be signed by the captain/owner of the yacht . Each participant is responsible for his/her life and  property himself. Organizers of the regatta do not bear responsibilities for participants life and property, and also for possible losses, corporal traumas or property damage. Organizers of competitions recommend to participants  to insure a possible damage,etc.at their convenience.

5. Rules:
This Regatta will be governed by the International Yacht Racing Rules (IYRR) 2009, Rules on internal waterways of the Russian Federation, Rules of classes and the Sailing Instruction.
The class/fleet of yachts independently defines quantity of races in each racing bottom and in a regatta as a whole before official opening of a regatta.
Otherwise, organizers of competitions solve this question independently. The result in each race and in a regatta as a whole is defined in conformity with class/fleet Rules.
In a "Mikro Class ", races are spent according to Rules and Regulations of the International Association of cups of a class "Mikro" (IMCCA).

6. Rewarding:
Winners and prize-winners of a regatta in each starting group, are awarded special prizes of corresponding advantage.
The establishment of special prizes is supposed.

7. Application  for participation:
 Organizing committee will accept entry forms in the yacht-club building.

No entry fee.

8. Sponsors:
Participation of sponsors in quality is supposed:
- The general sponsor of a regatta
- The official sponsor of a regatta
- The information sponsor of a regatta
- The regatta partner
- The sponsor of a buffet table

9. Advertising:
Organizers of competitions have the right to demand execution onboard the yacht of a symbol of the sponsor of a regatta, having given thus an emblem of the sponsor in registration.
